Regan who returned to the helm of the Excel magazine in January 2008, after then editor Mike Fahy joined Crains, is to become executive editor of the magazine.

He will be replaced by the current deputy editor Stuart Anderson.

“It has been a very busy 18 months for Excel and increasingly, I have been dragged away on other projects, “ said Regan.

“Stuart has essentially been editing the magazine for the past few issues, and he deserves a crack at the job. He is a fine journalist and I am certain he will  continue the tradition of a magazine that reports regional business without being in the pocket of any one interest group.”
