Glasgow Chamber of Commerce & Industry has appointed Excel to publish its re-launched bi-monthly magazine from August 2006. The magazine will promote the work of the Chamber in Glasgow and Cumbernauld.

John Cooper, Head of Excel's Contract Publishing Division commented: "Glasgow is one of the UK's most dynamic cities and an engine room for the Scottish economy. Its status as an international city was boosted as European Capital of Culture and it is now bidding for the Commonwealth Games in 2012.

The Chamber has 1500 members and this new magazine is seen as a key membership benefit and as an important marketing tool to attract additional members to this substantial organisation."

Excel Publishing Company has considerable expertise in delivering marketing products for Chambers of Commerce & Industry across the UK, publishing eight titles. The company's contract publishing division publishes over 40 titles for clients from sectors as diverse as The Royal Institute of British Architects to the Institute of Food Science & Technology.
