Builder and Engineer's online presence www.builderandengineer.co.uk has continued to see its traffic soar, following a revamp at the end of 2006.
In the nine months to September 2007, from a standing start, the site recorded over 1.1 million hits and each month now records over 62,000 page impressions. This traffic is likely to increase as the site, which now carries daily construction news, has now been picked up by Google News as one of its suppliers of UK construction-related news. Excel's web development manager Rachel McCormick said she was delighted at the results of the revamp. "We have put more journalistic resources into the site, and as a consequence Builder and Engineer online is becoming a serious player in its particular niche". |
